Background

Joel’s father died of cancer in 2023 and left his mother pregnant with his young sibling. Joel has 2 siblings all under the care of their mother alone.

After the death of their father, Joel and his family started staying at his grand mother’s home because their mother can not afford to pay house rent. His mother sells soft drinks from their home and earns a very small income to take care of her 3 children and their grandmother since she is old and unemployed.

Joel goes to a small poor school nearby their home and most of the time he is out of school because of lack of school fees.

Joel is looking for an opportunity to be sponsored so that he can attain a good and stable education.
