Background

Mackline’s mother got a mental illness and got lost from the family until today, none of the family knows her whereabouts.

Her father abandoned her when she was 6 years old and right now she stays with her aunt in Katanga slum.

Mackline’s aunt hawks second hand clothes and earns 2 USD a day as profit which can not cater for the basics of the family and also save for Mackline’s school fees and her children.

Due to lack of school fees, Mackline has not gone to school the previous term and the aunt does not know when she will be able to resume school due to her small income.

Mackline loves being in school, she is looking for an opportunity to be sponsored so that she can be able to get a good education and have a bright future.
