Background

Jamal’s father died in 2023 and he stays with his mother and siblings in a single rented room in the slum. Jamal’s mother struggles a lot to earn a living and be able to take care of Jamal and his siblings.

Jamal and his siblings stay at his grandmother’s home because his mother is always moving from one place to another looking for casual jobs. At the moment, his mother stays with a friend in another slum and washes other people’s clothes to be able to earn a living and take care of her children.

Jamal together with his siblings go to a small poor school and most of the time they are out of school due to lack of school fees.

Jamal is looking for an opportunity to be sponsored so that he can be able to attain a good and stable education.
