Background
Both Rihanah’s parents died of HIV/AIDS. Her father died in 2011 and her mother in 2013. Rihanah has been under the care of her grandmother alone since she was one year and half months. Her grandmother doesn’t know any of her relatives from her father’s side and doesn’t get any support from them.
Rihanah’s grandmother works as a street sweeper under the City Council Authority and earns a small monthly income which is little to pay for Rihanah’s school fees, take care of her other grand children and also the family basic needs. Rihanah and her grandmother stay in rented single room with her other 2 grand children. Before Covid-19, Rihanah was going to a small school nearby their home and was missing frequently because of lack of school fees.
Rihanah is searching for a sponsor to support her attain a good and stable education so that she can have a bright future ahead.
