| NAMPIJJA TEDDY | |
| Born: | SEPTEMBER 18 2012 |
Teddy’s mother got pregnant while she was still at her parents home and her father denied the pregnancy before the child was born, until today they have never seen him or heard from him. Teddy’s mother has 3 other children that belong to another man that she stays with in a single roomed house in Nakulabye slum. Sometimes Teddy stays with her uncle away from the city because the husband to her mother does not want her to stay around. Teddy’s mother used to have a vegetable stall from which she used to earn an income but it collapsed due to COVID-19 and right now she is unemployed.
Once in a while Teddy’s mother washes other people’s clothes from which she earns a very small income which is very little to pay for Teddy’s school fees and also take care of her other basics. Teddy goes to small poor school nearby their home and she is always off school because of lack of school fees.
Teddy is searching for an opportunity to be sponsored so that she can attain a good and stable education and achieve her dreams.
