How to Re-Sponsor

Re-sponsorship

It is 225 EUR per Quarter (75 EUR per month) to Re-sponsor a child back to school after his or her sponsor has stopped sponsorship. You can chose whether you want to pay quarterly, half year og yearly. Additional costs will be new uniforms 100 EUR that are invoiced once a year at the turn of the year.

This is a very big challenge as we can not let the children drop out of school even after the sponsor has stopped sponsoring.In this case we shall put the child back to searching for sponsor to get a new sponsor.Sponsorship brings strong love in these vulnerable children’s hearts, a strong relationship that they would love to hold on to forever and when a sponsor stops they feel abandoned by the ones they loved.

We understand that at times sponsor families are faced with financial difficulties , we kindly request in such situations to encourage friends or family to join and sponsor in a group to continue making a difference in the child’s life. You can choose to sponsor individually or in a group or a company The school calender has 4 Quarters in a year and a sponsor is invoiced 4 times on quarterly basis.

Jamal’s mother suffers from HIV/AIDs and has been very sick since 2016, because of the sickness she got disabled as she can not walk or do any work. Jamal’s father disappeared in 2016 after his mother got very sick and they have never seen him until today. Jamal is under the care of his aunt and they stay in a single roomed small house in Nakulabye slum. His aunt works at a small food joint as a waitress and earns a 1 USD a day which is very little to support her child and Jamal too. From her small income’s his aunt struggles to pay for Jamal’s school fees and also take care of her very sick sister.

Jamal goes to a nearby small school in the slum and he is frequently off school because his aunt’s small income can not sustain him school.

Jamal is searching for a sponsor to help him attain a good and stable education so that he can achieve his dreams in the future.
