Background
Lukiya’s father died in May 2020 from an unknown illness that affected his leg. Her mother has 4 children all from the same father and she is the only one taking care of her children now .
Her mother is a farmer that grows food mostly for her family and little is left for sale. From her produce she gets a very small income that can not sustain Lukiya in school and also support the family with other basic necessities.
Lukiya started school late at a nearby small poor school but misses school most of the times due to lack of school fees. Lukiya loves going to school and dreams of attaining a good and stable education that will help transform her life and that of her family.
Lukiya is looking for a support her attain a good and stable education in the city.
