Background
Shafiq’s father died when he was still in his mother’s womb.
He stays with his mother and 3 siblings in a small single room in the slum. His mother makes bathing sponges which she sells in the traffic jam, sometimes her items are taken away by the city authorities because it is illegal to sell items on the streets.
From her small business she get a very small income that can not sustain Shafiq in school.
Shafiq has missed school for 2 semesters now because of lack of school fees. Shafiq is looking for an opportunity of sponsorship so that he can have a chance to go back to school and attain to a good and stable education.
