Background
Aisha’s mother is mentally disable and was raped and impregnated to have Aisha.
The man that raped her mother denied and rejected Aisha until today and they do not know his whereabouts. Aisha has been under the care of her grandmother ever since she was born because her mother is mentally ill and could not take care of her.
Her grandmother has 8 children and also has 3 other orphans that are under her care. Aisha’s grandmother depends on roasting maize alongside the streets from which she earns 1.5USD daily as profit which is very little to take care of the big family and also save for Aisha’s school fees.
Aisha has not gone to school for the whole of this year due to lack of school fees.
