Background
Isaac’s mother died when he was giving birth to him. He was taken on by his grandmother and later on by his aunt in 2019.
When his mother died, his father became mentally ill and he ran away and no one knows his whereabouts. Isaac’s aunt is a single mother with 4 children of her own. The father of her children abandoned them since 2016 and they have never heard from him. All the 5 children are under her care alone.
His aunt hawks bathing sponges in the traffic from which she earns 1 .5 USD a day as profit. Isaac goes to a poor government school and his aunt struggles a lot to keep him in school.
Isaac misses school frequently because of lack of school fees because his aunt can not sustain him is school with her small income.
Isaac is seeking for an opportunity to be sponsored so that he can be able to attain a good and stable education and have a bright future ahead.
