Background
Bright stays in Katanga slum with his mother and 4 siblings.
Both his parents are alive but separated when Bright was 4 years old. His father is a drunkard and works as a porter on building sites but he refused to support Bright and his other children.
Bright’s mother sells bathing sponges in the traffic outside the slum and earns 1USD a day a profit. From her small income, it is very hard to save some little money and be able to sustain Bright in school.
Bright goes to a small community school in the slum where they pay very little money but he is always away from school due to lack of school fees.
Bright is looking for a sponsor to help him attain a good and stable education in school.
