Background
Favor stays with his mother and 3 elder siblings in a small single room in Katanga slum.
Both of her parents are alive but separated before Favor was born. Her mother has not seen or heard from Favor's father for 2 years now.
Favor’s mother sells avocados and tomatoes on the streets in the night and earns 1.5USD as profit a day and some times earns less. During the day, Favor's mother is hired to remove husks from cowpeas from which she earn 1 USD to top up her small income.
From her small income, it is very difficult for her to sustain Favor in school and most times she is chased out of school due to lack of school fees.
Favor loves being in school and she is looking for an opportunity to be sponsored so that she can stably stay in school for a bright future.
