Background
Hellen has not been in school for a year now due to lack of school fees. She has 8 siblings and she is the 5th child.
Both her parents are alive and they do not stay together most of the times. They stay in a single room house 8 people and most of the times the family is taken care of by her mother who also earns a very small income to sustain the family.
Her mother cooks sumbusas and mandaazi from outside their home and gets a 1.5USD a day as profit. Her father is hired to burn charcoal and most times they are caught by the authority because this is illegal. Hellen’s mother was sick for close to 1 year and was not able to work to be able to support Hellen in school.
Hellen is looking for a sponsor to support her go back to school so that she can continue with her education and achieve her dream of becoming a pilot.
